The LPGA Tour pros are back in their dens after playing the Fir Hills Seri Pak Championship at Palos Verdes Golf Club where Nelly Korda won her 10th LPGA Tour career title. While the event had been a success for Korda, it seemed a failed start for the 6-time LPGA Tour winner, Danielle Kang. The 31-year-old was one of the unfortunate players to miss the cut at the championship.

So, after playing two rounds, Kang is back to her home and back on the grind. The San Francisco native, though, did not have a pleasant time when she attempted to get back to her game. Kang faced her ultimate challenge as she tried to hit a few balls on the practice range.

Just like any golfer, when Danielle Kang faced the first cut of the season, she went back to the drawing board to work on herself. However, it seems the odds were against her. The recent update from Kang shows that when she reached the gold course in Las Vegas with her Titleist bag to practice the swing, she was hit with an unprecedented weather hazard.

She posted a story on Instagram, talking about the unpredictable weather of Vegas and how sometimes people deem it best for playing golf. In the story, Danielle Kang described it as “Myth “Vegas has great golf weather.” Though disappointed by the sudden halt to her practice, the 6-time LPGA Tour winner took the challenge as a lesson.

Contrary to the common belief, Kang explained that Vegas’ weather prepares people for extreme situations and gives them practice them for the worst. Her caption further read, opposite to the myth, the truth was, “Vegas is like Mr. Miyagi (the instructor from Karate Kid), it’ll prepare for the worst conditions so when it decides to go from 120 heat to 30 degrees + hail it won’t phase you.”

So, as she couldn’t continue, Kang went inside to inculcate some exercise in her day. In the next story, she wrote, “Vegas outside: you win, Inside: you lose some lbs,” as she was running on the treadmill. The 31-year-old surely had an unexpected day but still made it her agenda to get some training in. Though this day was not up to the mark, a few days back everything was in Kang’s favour.

Danielle Kang makes the 17th ace of her life

The golfer has always been active on social media, especially Instagram. During one of her updates, Kang shared incredible news with her fans. The 1-time major winner posted a video of the Titleist ball and explained that she had made her 17th hole-in-one. The pro though relayed that like every other ace she has made, this one was also not captured by the cameras.
