The greatest of all-time golfers, Annika Sorenstam, was blessed with a son, Will McGee, who is also interested in golf. Isn’t that great? The evidence was the former golfer pairing up with her son at the PNC Championship. Even though they could not win, they caught some media attention. 

As of now, Will has entered the world of golf with the help of his mother; he will need a coach. The LPGA star will always be there to support and guide her son. But getting guidance from other greatest players in golf history is like the cherry on the cake. Luckily, Lee Trevino has taken Will under his wing and given him the best advice about betting.

Yes, you read that right. The hilarious advice by Trevino has been making rounds on the internet, and fans cannot get enough of it. And the best part about that clip was that Will was on board with Trevino’s advice. But wait, did Sorenstam know about this? Perhaps not. Maybe that is why he told Will not to tell his mother.

Viewers saw the 1981 World Golf Hall of Fame golfer Trevino guiding another Sorenstam on the golf course. But the video’s highlight was his betting advice for little Will. Trevino revealed how Will can always win golf bets with his friends in the future. Fans often see pro golfers having a side bet or betting during practice sessions—a great way to make extra bucks and have fun with peers and friends. Trevino wanted Will to be on the same path, only now he knows the trick to win every time.

Trevino explained that a thing that little McGee will have to do to win the bet with his friend is to ask them to play with his club. Explaining the trick, he asked Will to say, “OK, I’m going to chip you for quarters, but you have to use my club.” He chose to do so because Will was a left-handed player. But his friends won’t know. “And they don’t know you’re left-handed, see?”

When the great Trevino gives advice, it is sure wrapped around in years of experience and expertise. Therefore, Will was immediately on board with the funny way to win the bet. He said, “That’s not a bad idea.” Everyone around had a good laugh. However, Trevino knew that Sorenstam might not like the trick. Therefore, he asked Will never to mention this to her. He said, “Not a bad idea, right? God damn. Don’t tell your mother I said that, okay?”
