Phil Mickelson is a six-time major winner and has won 45 events on the PGA TOUR. As a result, Phil is a renowned name in the game of golf. He is arguably one of the greatest players of all time and is famous for his tagline “show calves and hit the bombs”.

In the recent past, Phil created history by winning the 2021 PGA championship and breaking the record for the oldest major championship winner at the age of 50, eventually breaking the record of Julius Boros, who achieved the feat at the age of 48.

We have seen the likes of Bryson DeChambeau hitting long drives with the average being 323.7 yards. As a result, he is the longest hitter on the tour.

Phil is also famous for his long drives off the tee. He hit a monster of a drive at the 17th hole at the WGC-Cadillac Championship. Phil hit his first shot right on the cart path. The ball bounced on the cart path and took a couple of huge bounces and settled down on the cart path near the green side.

Phil, who is considered to be the king of quick games, didn’t let the fans down when he hits his drive on the cart path. He showcased his chipping masterclass once again and chipped the ball close to the hole. Phil drained the birdie putt and made arguably the most incredible birdie off the cart path.

 Hits a 350-yard drive

Phil made his PGA Tour Champions debut in 2020, with the tour veteran turning 50. However, his game shows, no signs of turning old. He hit a monstrous 350-yard drive and started the new page of his career with a bang.
