The professional golfer got all the attention of his fans after he posted a video with his new caddie. The golfer started by addressing his fans and telling them that he has now changed his caddie. Right after he said “Here’s Brian Zeigler”, the video panned out to the caddie jumping into the pool next to them. And while doing so, he didn’t leave the golf bag and clubs outside! That’s right, he took them in for a dive too. He was also followed into the pool by the gofer himself.

“Jumping into the deep end!” DeChambeau wrote in the caption for his video. “Excited to have Brian Zeigler joining the team as my new caddie. Can’t wait to have him be a part of the journey.” DeChambeau gave Zeigler the role of being his caddie after his stint as an instructor at Dallas National Golf Club.

Writing further in his caption, DeChambeau said, “Thank you to my great friend Tim Tucker for everything he has done for me. I am grateful for our friendship.”. However, the rumors about his split with Tucker said something else. But the golfer decided to speak up to clarify things about his decision to change his caddie.

In an interview with Golf.com, DeChambeau said“Everybody always thinks there was some kind of falling out, but there really wasn’t. This was in the works for a while,”. He also mentioned that Tucker is a really good friend to him and that the player has always cared about him. But his fans didn’t seem convinced by his statements regarding the split. The reason behind the fans’ disbelief could be that the golf star has very few friends in the golf community. Ever since his controversy with Brooks Koepka took off, fans have been looking down at DeChambeau. But little does it matter to the golfer since he is doing perfectly fine in his career in LIV Golf.
