LIV’s Brooks Koepka has been having a thrilling week so far. Just hours ago, the 33-year-old bested some of the biggest names in the golf world to claim his 3rd Wanamaker trophy. He then proceeded to bolt out of Oak Hill to witness his favorite ice hockey team in action.

A Florida Panthers superfan, Koepka could be seen passionately cheering them on as they took on the Carolina Hurricanes for the Stanley Cup playoffs. The 5-time major winner’s antics at the game have caused quite a stir on the internet, with golf fans chiming in with hilarious reactions.

Last month, Brooks Koepka failed to get any sleep after he lost the coveted Green Jacket to the PGA Tour’s Jon Rahm at Augusta. On Sunday, however, the LIV golfer managed to heal his woes by claiming his first major title since 2019. So, how did Koepka celebrate the huge moment?

Well, instead of taking a day to cool off, the golfer rushed to catch a Florida Panthers game at the FLA Live Arena in Sunrise, Florida. Midway through the second period of the face-off, however, cameras spotted Koepka looking intoxicated, intensely clapping and cheering the team on. At one point, the golfer even pulled out his Wanamaker Trophy, showing it off for the fans!

The recent major champion was accompanied by his fellow LIV compatriot, Dustin Johnson, at the NHL battle. There, he was even honored by the team for his recent feat amidst great cheers and applause from the crowd. This wasn’t the first time Koepka’s passion for the team has come to light either! Earlier this year, he was caught heckling the Panthers’ Aaron Ekblad with an orange traffic cone!

Koepka’s unique clapping moment has now gone viral on Twitter and garnered a lot of attention from the fans, who have not held back in expressing their thoughts about the incident publicly!
