This gaming season has been pretty taxing for the American pro golfers, especially the Ryder Cup players, after their 16.5–11.5 defeat at the hands of their European opponents. American pro Rickie Fowler has been seeing the same fate.

After the PGA Tour pro’s matchplay on the Roman greens, it appeared that the golfer was going through a seasonal slump as he played two matches in this year’s Ryder Cup and lost both. Now, after weeks of being MIA, the player has finally resurged, and the fans cannot seem to contain their excitement.

Rickie Fowler played two matches in this year’s Ryder Cup and lost both. On the first day of the Ryder Cup, the Americans played the morning four balls with Collin Morikawa against Sepp Straka and Shane Lowry, and Team Europe won the match by two. Flower was not a part of any of the other paired matches and played straight at the Sunday singles next against Tommy Fleetwood, where he lost to his European counter. His overall score this Ryder Cup season was 0–2–0.

After the Ryder Cup, Fowler took an unannounced hiatus from the greens. Unlike players like Max Homa or Justin Thomas, who, regardless of their Ryder Cup loss, were active on SNS, updating their fans about their health and upcoming endeavors, Fowler was MIA for three straight weeks.
