Sherrie Miller, the ex-wife of John Daly, had once been involved in a major scandal that led to one of the most talked about events in the world of golf. The pro golfer once shared what he felt about the situation. He emphasized not incriminating a person unless proven guilty and how this practice is unfair. The issue gained a lot of attention from people around the world back in the day. This was not the first time Daly’s personal life was made public.

John Daly once shared his views about the allegations his ex-wife faced
Long John has had a long list of marital situations that caught the light of the day. His personal life has been made public on several occasions. Daly’s ex-wife, Sherrie Daly, was a part of a conspiracy that involved illegal activities.
Daly was once asked how aware he was of the same, and his opinions on the matter. He was quick to answer the question and express how it affected him.

He said, “I really don’t know anything. It hit me like a brick house. I’m more in shock about it than anything.”, according to the Golf Channel. However, the two-time Major winner also made sure to ask everyone to not conclude so easily. He requested them to wait till a decision surfaced and also shared what he might do if things do not go all too well.
Daly continued, “It’s not fair to kick someone down when they’ve not proven anything. I just have to wait and see what happens. I might not stick with her if she’s guilty… I just know she’s a good mom.”
All in all, Daly clearly expressed what he thought was the right thing to do back then.
Daly and his foundation
John Daly has set up a foundation that specifically caters to the needs of women and veterans. His foundation is a step in the direction of building his legacy.

His drive to make it a success channels through everyone close to the program. As a breakthrough from his bad boy persona, and deeming to his aging, Daly is moving towards a more balanced outlook in life.
He is trying to make his legacy count and is trying to use his privilege as a tool to drive change and empower children, who he dearly loves.
