At the LIV Golf Chicago event at Rich Harvest Farms, golfers, including Cameron Smith, Dustin Johnson, Brooks Koepka, and Bryson DeChambeau, are a part of this event. With Ian Poulter and Sergio Garcia notable for missing the Ryder Cup, is also joining the lineup. This three-day, 48-player event is the 12th in the 2023 LIV Golf League’s schedule. Recently, LIV Golf highlighted Poulter’s humourous swing on social media.

In the shared post, Poulter is captured in the midst of an attempt to sync his putt with the rhythm of the loud background music. As he tries to coordinate his shot with the beats, there’s a humorous moment when he doesn’t quite match the timing, leading to a missed shot that he takes in good spirits.

At 47, Poulter has participated in 11 LIV Golf events this season. Although he hasn’t achieved a top-10 placement, he has landed within the top 25 five times. One commented drawing a light analogy, “It’s like almost getting to sneeze,” referencing the frustrating feeling of an anticipated sneeze that never comes, while another chimed in with, “Why do people at liv events seem like they are having so much more fun than at the pga events?
