Mental well-being is a top priority for Brooks Koepka’s wife, Jena Sims

Just in 2023 alone, Jena Sims has made several amazing breakthroughs. Earlier this year, Sims became a top contender for the 2023 Sports Illustrated Swim Search title. An extremely hardworking person, she also recently collaborated with the ONEONE brand on a new line of women’s swimwear. Not to mention, she is also expecting her first child with Brooks Koepka!

Despite taking on all these diverse roles, however, Sims knows how to keep her mental well-being intact! Speaking to Sports Illustrated, the 34-year-old beauty revealed that she has been going to talk therapy for quite some time now. “I’m a people pleaser. I’m the queen of like, ‘no worries if not,’” Sims confessed.

The Swim Search finalist revealed that the therapy sessions had made her a more assertive person. Furthermore, Sims has learned to believe that “‘no’ is a complete sentence.

Mrs. Brooks Koepka reflects on her pregnancy self-care

Back in May, Brooks Koepka and Jena Sims delighted the golf world by sharing that they were expecting a baby. “The best is yet to come,” read the caption of their pregnancy announcement post on Instagram.

So, what new endeavors has Sims undertaken during these crucial times? Well, she has been undergoing a lot of fertility acupuncture treatments. The actress and model shared that she initially had inhibitions about the process but has since come to love it. “I go once a week and get my body poked at,” she said.

A self-care enthusiast, Sims also loves to indulge in facials and buccal massages. Moreover, the Florida native is also a big believer in exercise regimens and has been doing them regularly since the pandemic!
