Joaquin Niemann, who is currently having a dominant season on the circuit, and Jon Rahm, who is yet to finish below the 10th position at any LIV event since his joining.

All participating golfers get a chunk of the prize money regardless of where they finish on the leaderboard. The remaining $5 million is kept aside to distribute amongst the winning teams. The team concept is unique to LIV Golf and cannot be found on the PGA Tour. Unlike the individual prize distribution, only the top three teams get the money from the $5 million pool. Here is the breakdown of the team prize money.
| TEAM POSITION | PRIZE MONEY |
| 1 | $3 million |
| 2 | $1.5 million |

It is not just the lucrative prize money at stake at the event. The players and the team will be competing to improve their standings on the individual and team points list.
2025 LIV Golf standings as of now
On the individual front, the undoubted leader is Joaquin Niemann. The Chilean golfer has won three of the six events. He is that dominant. Niemann also earned a spot on the upcoming US Open due to his brilliance on the LIV Golf Circuit. He is currently 30 points ahead of Jon Rahm in second.

Spaniard Rahm is yet to finish outside the Top 10 in a LIV Golf event, and he maintains a 16-point game gap with fellow countryman Sergio Garcia, who is third. Lucas Herbert and Bryson DeChambeau, both yet to win this season, make the fourth and fifth places.
On the team front, Jon Rahm-led Legion XIII GC holds the lead, with Sergio Garcia’s Fireballs GC trailing. Ripper GC makes up the top 3 of the standings. The individual points winner, runner-up, and third-placed finisher will get tasty bonuses at the end of the season.
