A social media influencer. An ex-golf pro. A children’s book author. Paige Spiranac goes by many names in the golfing world. Well, she had the chance to add yet another moniker to her arsenal of titles. A caddie. Not just any caddie, but Bryson DeChambeau’s looper no less at the upcoming LIV Golf event in Las Vegas. But it appears she would be the cause of the golfer’s woe this time around.

The diva took to her Instagram to share her plans for the coming Thursday, the same date on which the next event on the Saudi-backed league is set to start. Although her schedule does include her flying out to Las Vegas, it does not seem to involve any intention of joining the 1X major champ at the upcoming tourney.

Spiranac posted a story on her Instagram handle revealing her intention to attend the second annual Sports Illustrated Invitational at TPC Las Vegas from February 8th. The golf queen would be attending the event as a special guest along with Las Vegas Raiders star Maxx Crosby. Meanwhile, the tourney would be hosted by the comedy golf podcast team from the Country Club Adjacent.

Well then, what about DeChambeau? It seems he would have to go forward with his current looper Greg Bodine for now. The 30-year-old LIV golfer had jokingly invited the model to be his caddie at LIV Golf Las Vegas during a collaboration that they did a while back.

Well, the two had come together with a YouTube video that showcased the pair playing some shots and the golf queen then going ahead to caddie for the male golfer. Following the video, Spiranac asked her followers who they would like to see her as a looper for next, to which the 2020 U.S. Open champ replied, “You’re hired. I need you in Vegas by Monday.”

Although it was just a joke, many DeChambeau-Spiranac fans did want the two of them to officially team up on the greens. But, sadly for the fans, it appears the 2022 Maxim Sexiest Woman would be attending the celebrity golf tournament being held at Superbowl’s turf no less.

Touted as “the ultimate golf excursion for A-List celebrities, athletes, and golf enthusiasts”, the Sports Illustrated Invitational is a tournament held by Authentic Brands Group. The company, in partnership with Meredith, had purchased the publication for a reported $110 million. During the event, the invited participants would tee it up in a foursome match for 18 holes to clinch the SI Invitational Cup.

Following the competition, an after-party would be held at Hakkasan Nightclub, MGM Grand. This time around, the event would be held in Las Vegas as opposed to Scottsdale last year at the Talking Stick Resort, which saw many including the likes of Anthony Anderson, Justin Tuck, Michael Strahan, and Schoolboy Q, among others participating in the same.
