After exploring the grand Centurion Club in London, the LIV Golf has now moved to American soil. The Pumpkin Ridge Golf Club will host the Round 2 of the league. It is the first of the five American golf clubs that will soon host the events of LIV Golf.

Field, Format, and more of the LIV Golf Invitational second event
Forty-eight players will be part of the 54-hole event at the Portland golf club this week. Notably, like last time, there will be 12 four-player teams, with one acting as a team captain. With many additions to the field, LIV Golf has made many noticeable changes to the team.

Dustin Johnson, Phil Mickelson, Sergio Garcia, Wade Ormsby, Graeme McDowell, and Louis Oosthuizen are some players who get to keep their leadership, same as the London event. Meanwhile, new additions like Brooks Koepka and Bryson DeChambeau replaced others to become the team leaders at Portland. A list of teams and their leaders are given below:

Notably, the Pumpkin Ridge Golf Club is also hosting a Pro-Am event as a part of the Invitational Series on June 29. It will also be a group event with one professional and four amateurs in a team.
Winner’s payout at the 2022 LIV Golf Round 2
The total purse offered by LIV Golf for its second event is $25 million, with $5 million allotted for the players of the first three teams. Notably, $3 million will go to the first team, $1.5 million to the second-placed team, and $500,000 to the third team.

Similar to the first event, the winner will win the $4 million prize money at the 54-hole event. No cuts will be made in the tournament, with $20 million distributed among the entire field of 48 players.
