Anthony Kim has become the enigma of the golf world! The American golfer has been missing from the professional scene for a decade. But now he is making the rounds on the internet again, just based on rumors of his return. It was earlier being debated that whether the golfer will return to the PGA Tour to commence the second part of his professional journey, or will he move to other side? The recent shocking revelation of his probable return reflects the latter!

As per the reports, Kim has already joined the breakaway league. Shocking, right? But the tipping point was not the millions of dollars offered by the PIF but the involvement of the LIV Golf CEO, Greg Norman, himself!

In a recent addition to the rumor mill, Flushing It Golf claimed that the ‘disappeared’ American golfer will make his return to the greens at LIV Golf Jeddah as a wildcard. But this claim is not a new one, as a similar one popped up on the internet weeks ago. What was shocking was the statement, “Greg Norman was personally involved in negotiations and it is believed to be the biggest factor in convincing him to return.”

AK is ready to make his long-awaited return to the returns with LIV. If Flushing It Golf is to be believed, Kim has been “cleaning up in money games and is working closely with a new coaching team.” This information hints that ultimately it took Norman’s exceptional negotiation skills wherein he initially offered him an insurance policy worth $10 million to bring the pro-claimed ‘next Tiger Woods‘ back.

But nothing is set in stone. So golf fans should be ready to take this information with a grain of salt. While it is still up in the air when the American golfer will make his comeback, a LIV Golf player is already ready to welcome him.

But it looks like this rumor carries a lot of weight. This is due to the fact that multiple golf insiders have reported that LIV Golf players are expecting Anthony Kim to join them in Jeddah.

In January 2024, Abraham Ancer, who plays for Fireballs GC, said he wants Anthony Kim to return to the greens. The two of them have both played golf for the University of Oklahoma. Ancer said in a podcast, “I think it’d be cool! It’d be definitely good for golf. Yeah be sick if he will join LIV – that’d be bada**.”

Interestingly, Kim will not immediately translate to competition after his Jeddah showdown. It will be fascinating interesting to see how he performs at his first event in more than a decade if he decides to return. Are you looking forward to seeing the return of the ‘next Tiger Woods’?
