The mid-season transfer window for LIV Golf will soon be open! According to the reports, the team will trade their players without any compensation. The trade window will start on May 6th at midnight and end after a month. Hence, by the next month, many teams might be shuffled up, with new faces among them.

With this new format, the teams can extend the expiring contracts of the players and then board them. Interestingly, LIV Golf has not disclosed the players up for the trade or whose contracts will soon expire. That, however, has not stopped fans from flooding the internet with their predictions.

LIV Golf Highlights, a fan page of the breakaway circuit, shared three “NO-brainer trades” that needed to happen. As per them, Jon Rahm’s team, Legion GC, should’ve traded Caleb Surratt for RangeGoats GC’s Thomas Pieters. Conversely, they recommended that Lefty trade Andy Ogletree for Charles Howell III of Crusher GC, and that Henrik Stenson, the co-captain of Majesticks GC, transfer to Cleeks GC to replace Richard Bland. This would make the Sticks a full-British team and the Cleeks a team with all players with Scandinavian roots, adding to the intrigue that LIV’s team model brings.

Even though fans first wanted more transparency about the players with expiring contracts, that didn’t stop them from adding to the list of transfers they wanted to see happen. From Pat Parez to Andy Ogletree, quite a few LIV stars were on the wrong teams in the golf world.

Dustin Johnson’s 4 Aces need to see a change, as per LIV Golf fans

One fan wanted captain Dustin Johnson to do a little shakeup on his team. As of late, the 4Aces GC has not performed well in LIV Golf events, and as per them, maybe the trade would help the team in the future. They were hoping for a trade involving Harold Varner III, the 2024 entrant. “HV3 is likely getting moved. I can see him for Ogletree, or possibly him for Kokrak.”

Another LIV fanatic had yet another suggestion for DJ’s team. Considering Pat Perez’s recent performances, which have been quite underwhelming (he has 0 top-10 finishes this season and is 47th in the individual standings), the fan suggested swapping him. “4 Aces need to trade Pat Perez.” Who they should replace him with, though, is a mystery.

The young gun, Caleb Surratt, who debuted at LIV Golf in 2024 with Jon Rahm as the captain, had been doing well at Legion GC. After all, they have already had their first team victory. Seeing how well the youngster has been doing, one RangeGoats fan suggested that Surratt be brought onto Bubba Watson’s team, and another agreed, saying, “Man surrart would be awesome for the goats.”

One user disagreed with all of LIV Golf Highlights’ trade predictions. They deemed that five of the six predictions weren’t necessary, but there was one that even they couldn’t disagree with. Thomas Pieters. They claimed that the RangeGoats star needed to be swapped. “Pieters is the only one that could move. The rest I see 0 chance in moving.”
