David Puig claimed a spot at 2024 The Open

Even after getting into the top 150, Puig would not have gotten into the Open with his rank! The only way was through the qualifying events. The IRS Prima Malaysian Open was one of the qualifying series events for the British Open, and the winner with two runner-ups has been offered a place at the Royal Troon GC for the competition scheduled from July 18 to July 21.
