Owing to an amazing performance on the circuit over the year including three victories at Adelaide, Singapore, and Andalucia, Gooch was able to earn an amount close to $35,391,411. This comprises the $17,391,411 on-course money along with the $18 million bonus for the title of Champion. However, the 31-year-old did not take the earnings for himself, as he revealed his plans on social media.

A post was uploaded on the Instagram handle of the professional’s non-profit organization, the Talor Gooch Foundation, aimed at uplifting the children in Oklahoma. In the picture shared, the champ indicates how he wants to give “a chance” to “better the lives” of the “next generation” so that the state and city, as a whole, can improve.

Adding on, the 2021 RSM Classic winner expressed his gratitude for the “blessing” of being able to help the community “for the last couple of years.” Moreover, the 3X LIV Golf winner mentioned, “The more success that I’m able to have on the golf course, it’s just going to provide more and more means and resources to our foundation,” alluding to how the earnings in 2023 have already been kept aside or even used for the cause.

Well, the philanthropist has been a happy man this year with his position on the leaderboard and the amount of money he received. But another surprise was in store for the golfer, and it was given to him by none other than the CEO of the Saudi-backed league.
