PGA Tour took a different approach for celebrating the long-awaited return of the NBA star, Klay Thompson. ‘#KlayDay’ is trending on Twitter as the 31-year-old NBA star Klay Thompson returned to the court after a break of more than 2 years. Klay took the break after he suffered a torn ACL in the 2019 NBA finals.

Since Thompson announced his come back, Twitter almost crashed due to his fans’ and colleagues’ Tweets. PGA Tour also wanted to be a part of this celebration but thought of a unique way to celebrate Klay’s return.

Is there a Klay Thompson on the PGA Tour?

When PGA Tour posted this tweet on their Twitter page, even they didn’t know they would get such diverse answers. Since Klay Thompson is good at many things, golf fans began to relate many pro-golfers with the NBA star. 

Although the fans tried to relate many features of Thompson, most of them stuck with his celebratory style on the court.

As the fan mentioned Tony Finau, we cannot help but go back to the ‘celebration gone wrong’ moment.

Apart from Tony, Jordan Spieth‘s legendary celebratory moment also was nominated by a fan to be at Thompson’s level.

Which Tour pro is at par with Thompson’s humor?

Klay Thompson’s humor is legendary. Even though sometimes he doesn’t mean to, his statements make all of us laugh a lot. In this category, fans voted mainly for Brooks Koepka and Henrik Stenson.

Nobody knows what PGA Tour meant when they asked for a Kyle Thompson from the pro golfers. But this took an interesting turn, as the fans reminded us all why Thompson is loved by all of us.
