It is the time of the holidays! And the American professional golfer Tiger Woods has already started his celebrations. After singing carol with his fellow Taylor Made-sponsoring golfers, the 15-time major champion has made another video of him for the upcoming festivals. And this time, he has made it by collaborating with the newly released game, the PGA Tour 2k23.

“Hey, everyone, it’s Tiger here,” the golfer addressed his fans on the video the PGA Tour 2k23 posted recently on its Twitter profile. Unlike the Taylor Made video, in which he, along with players like Rory McIlroy and Collin Morikawa, sang carol and made their fans laugh with their humorous side, this one was a regular one to wish happy holidays to his and PGA Tour 2k23’s fans.

According to a sportingnews.com article, the golfer continued his relationship with EA Sports until 2013. After the company released ‘Tiger Woods PGA Tour 14,’ in which the game introduced LPGA players, EA Sports dropped the G. O. A. T. and signed with McIlroy instead. However, unlike Woods’ series of games, EA Sports stopped releasing the PGA Tour game series after 2015.

“I am looking forward to making my return to the video game landscape,” the golfer said after the announcement. “And with 2K and HB Studios, I’ve found the right partners to make it happen.”
Interestingly, according to Sports Illustrated, the soon-to-be-47-year-old golfer was not just partnered with 2k Sports and HB Studios to be the playable character. He is also one of the executive producers this time.
After two years of creating it, the company finally released the PGA Tour 2k23 in October this year. Although fans complained about the bugs in the game, several websites have rated it as a success.
