The Solheim Cup is already underway, with Team USA currently leading the battle to break Europe’s dominance. Unlike other tournaments, the Ryder Cup’s sister tournament demands a strong team bond, as here the best twelve of the USA face the best twelve of the other side of the Atlantic. Although the game of golf is still going on, Nelly Korda, the US stalwart, seems to have already nailed the team-building game!

It was only a few days ago that Nelly Korda unveiled the new Beatsby Dre headphone’s Ryder Cup-inspired edition. She seemed super pumped up as she showed the gorgeous design of the headphones on her Instagram story while Bruce Springsteen’s “Born in the USA” played in the background.

Now, ahead of the Solheim Cup, she has gifted a pair of those to her team’s assistant captain, Natalie Gulbis. Gulbis, too, seemed to be brimming with enthusiasm upon receiving the gift from her before the grand showdown in Andalusia.

BeatsbyDre has been owned by the $2.72 trillion US tech giant Apple since 2014. Their recently released Ryder Cup-inspired headphone has taken the golf world by storm. The model comes with ‘Play Hard, Play to Win. Have Fun’ embedded on it. The entire body of the headphone is painted red and blue with stars embellished on it, representing the US flag.

Ahead of, arguably, the biggest patriotic tournament in golf, the spirit of patriotism runs high among the US team and Gulbis, who was undoubtedly chosen for her role thanks to her Solheim Cup past!

Stacy Lewis picked Natalie Gulbis as her assistant captain because of her vast experience with the Solheim Cup. The 2007 Evian Masters winner was a three-time member of the history-making USA Solheim Cup-winning team of 2005, 2007, and 2009. Korda is sure to have taken inspiration from her as she embarks on a journey to snatch the record-breaking third consecutive title from Team Europe’s grasp.

Aside from golf, Gulbis is also involved in various social and educational causes off the field. This has made her an inspiration for another celebrity golfer. Interestingly, her candor and flamboyance made her Paige Spiranac’s idol. The golf beauty considers Gulbis her mentor because she inspired herself to dress the way she wanted to on the greens. “She just gives me the confidence to, like, be myself,” the former pro golfer once said while talking about her mentor.
