It has been more than a couple of weeks since the Solheim Cup saw Europe defend their title against their American rivals. Although the latter had a great start, the Stacy Lewis-led squad ultimately conceded too much at the end, tying 14-14 to share the trophy. And at the center of all the drama was LPGA’s cover girl, Nelly Korda.

The devastating loss saw the professional take a break from the game. However, her ardent followers have found a ray of hope at the end of the tunnel as she was spotted on social media hinting at a comeback soon, all the while having fun in her time off!

Nelly Korda’s hiatus is to come to an end!

Korda’s loss at the last two matches of the biennial tournament resulted in her taking a break from the sport, leading to her fans’ growing worry for the professional. But now, an Instagram story by a tennis coach has shed some light on her disheartening hiatus.

A story was uploaded by Klara Mrcela on her Instagram handle which showcased a picture of the younger Korda sibling with a hilarious pose. The 25-year-old took up the position while holding a butter knife during her lunch date with her athlete friend while sporting an amusing expression.

It has come out as nothing short of good news as the 8X LPGA Tour champ was spotted having some fun on her days off. However, one can’t help but be curious as to when the professional would actually be back in action. Well, look no further as NELLYLEGION, a fan page dedicated to the golfer, has answered the question.

The 2021 Women’s PGA Championship winner would return to the greens during the BMW Ladies Championship to be held from the 19th of October, followed by the Maybank Championship on the 26th. Her November appearances will include the ANNIKA Driven at Pelican on the 9th and the CME Tour Championship ten days later. 

It isn’t the first time that the followers of the LPGA icon saw a ray of hope in regards to the professional and her hiatus owing to the Solheim Cup heartbreak. But, the first instance came as a result of a very famous energizer.

The American professional was spotted celebrating National Coffee Day in a series of videos uploaded by the official Instagram handles of TaylorMade GolfAs an endorser of the sports equipment manufacturing company’s team, Korda revealed her “pick-me-up” drink before a round.

Continuing on her revelation, the 1X major champion disclosed how she likes her coffee-order to be a “flat white”, a blend of foamed milk poured over a shot of expresso. Adding to her response, the golfer conveyed how she usually goes around the various coffee shops in the cities she visits in a bid to buy the drink.
