Brooke Henderson discusses the kind of pressure she feels while playing in her home country

The 25-year-old LPGA phenom is currently competing in the $2.5 million event with all her zest and determination. The event is halfway through and the leaderboard looks pretty interesting with Megan Khang sitting on top, while Henderson stays put at T11 tied with 10 other golfers.

She ended her first day of the tournament on the other side of the cut line with +3 on the board, so the second day was a silent battle for the Canadian star. She put 4 under on the board, and finally ended her 36 holes with the overall score of 1 under and made the cut.

She sat for the post-round press conference wherein an interviewer questioned her about the extra pressure she feels on her country’s soil, especially on a day when the pressure to make the cut is immense.
