The 28-year-old had managed to etch her name in the history of the sport by gearing up to take on the field of men at the Shriners Children’s Open in Las Vegas through a sponsor’s invite.

The influencer was very expressive of her admiration for the professional as Thompson was able to play an incredible role in the growth of women’s golf and the game as a whole. Spiranac went ahead to mention how the American has “been in the spotlight for such a long time” all the while pointing out how she “can’t think of someone who is more deserving of this opportunity.”
