The fifth edition of the Augusta National Women’s Amateur is ready to begin this week. With a total field of 72 players from 20 different countries, including the 2022 champion of the event Anna Davis, and other previous champions. The event will be played on two different golf courses. Rounds 1 and 2 will take place at Champions Retreat Golf Club in Evans, and the final round will be played at Augusta National Golf Club.
Many golf lovers would surely love to experience the game on the greens. However, the fans who won’t be able to be physically present on the golf course can join in the fun via live broadcast. Here’s how one can experience the golf event from the comfort of their home.
How to watch the Augusta National Women’s Amateur

The first leg of the women’s tournament will kick off on April 3rd, followed by the second round on April 4th. After the first two rounds of the event, April 5 will be a closed practice for the women athletes. The tournament will proceed to its final round on April 6th. Unlike the previous edition, which was streamed only on the Golf Channel, this year’s coverage has been expanded to include Peacock Broadcast as well.

The first and second rounds of the women’s tournament will be broadcast live on Golf Channel from 1:30–3:30 p.m. EDT. However, the final round will be broadcast live on April 6th on NBC from 12 p.m. to 3 p.m. The broadcast will also be streaming on Peacock and the NBC Sports app. Fans can also have the event’s live updates and more information via the official website of the championship, and they can follow the event’s official social media channels, like ANWAgolf, across Facebook, Instagram, X, and TikTok.

The event, Golf Channel’s “Live From the Masters,” will commence on Friday, April 5th, at Augusta National to provide coverage of the competition. Additionally, the players taking part in it will also taste a good treat over winning, as this championship carries good perks for the one who gets victorious this year at the Augusta National Golf Club.

What’s in store for this Augusta National Women’s Amateur winner?
According to the official website of the event, the winner of the Augusta National Women’s Amateur will get an auto exemption into four women’s majors: the 2024 U.S. Women’s Open, the 2024 Women’s Open, the 2024 Chevron Championship, and the 2024 Evian Championship. Moreover, the winner will be eligible to play the ANWA in the upcoming 5 years and will also get entry to play any USGA, R&A, and PGA of America amateur championships till the next year.

“This championship will become an exciting addition to Masters Week, and it furthers our effort to promote the sport and inspire young women to take up the game,” Augusta National Golf Club chairman Fred Ridley said in 2018 when he introduced this championship to encourage young women golfers to chase their dreams. It is now true indeed!
