Nelly Korda is currently busy working on her first big win in the past few months. She has been having a rough time with her health and form over the past couple of years, and the Solheim Cup disappointment was difficult to overcome too.

In a press conference, she received a question about the injury last year. In March 2022, she complained about a blood clot and had to take time off from the course. She later returned to form with the Pelican Woman’s Championship in November, regaining her world number 1 ranking.

While the past sounds painful enough, she hasn’t had a happening season this year either. She has been struggling with health issues and a dip in form in 2023 as well.

Nelly Korda healed and recovered from blood clots by November 2022, and that’s when she won the Pelican. However, the history of health issues doesn’t stop there.

On 2023 May, she again had health complaints. She had pain in her back, and she had to withdraw from an upcoming tournament. Korda had to take some time off and recover.

Her subsequent comeback was in July at the Aramco Team Series, playing for the Ladies European Tour. After this, she reclaimed the world’s number 1 position once again, after she held it briefly during the November 2022 win.

Now, although there has not been an injury update during her short break after the Solheim Cup, this has been a time-off. Naturally, her fans hope for her to announce her comeback in style. Hopefully, the dips in health and form subside and let her wear her crown again.
