LPGA Tour legend Nelly Korda is known for her spectacular shots on the field. However, she didn’t have a very successful season last season. Saving herself from complete disappointment, Korda won the Pelican Women’s Championship towards the end. But recently, after competing with golf stars including Brooke Henderson in the Hilton Grand Vacations Tournament of Champions, Korda revealed details of her toughest moments in the game.

What was the hardest part during the tournament for Nelly Korda?

After double-crossing a couple of iron shots during the game this week, Korda couldn’t believe her own performance. And according to her reaction to her shots, it has probably been a long time since something like this happened to the golfer. Finishing 5 shots behind Brooke Henderson, who lifted the trophy for the tournament, Korda made it to a solo-fourth end!

“Probably my iron play. I was very, very, very disappointed with it this week. And my putting. I think my putting. I made some good saves this week… So making the birdie putts, that’s kind of where I struggled and that’s where I need to improve.” But being the optimistic human she has always been, Korda said she was extremely excited about working on her skills.

Despite all the rough games last year, Korda is trying her best to make a strong comeback. And as of now, it is just the beginning of this season, which means the golfer will have enough chances to prove herself on the field. Moreover, the best part is that Korda is well aware of her weaknesses and is willing to work on them firsthand.
