However, the sport boasts many uplifting moments as well, and Minjee Lee’s beautiful gesture was one of them.

Another Instagram user shed light on Lee’s round one performance while praising her, saying, “Minjee is a class act especially after a double bogey. She shows the character of a true champion.” The Aussie golfer is vying to nab the third major of her career at the $9,000,000 event. In the previous year’s edition, she had tied for second place behind South Korea’s In Gee Chun.
