Before fans watch her pace herself for a record sixth win in a row, Nelly Korda made her Met Gala debut. The first golfer ever after Tiger Woods in 2013 to power their stardom to the exclusive event, Korda graced herself in a red Oscar de la Renta gown. And the ‘Golf Queen’ Paige Spiranac can’t seem to get enough of her!

The golfing diva recently took to X and shared a picture of the two-time major champion in her exquisite dress at the fundraiser. Spiranac‘s caption read,

“Love seeing Nelly at the Met Gala! She looks amazing.”

Korda’s first-ever appearance at the Met Gala was a fundraiser for the benefit of the Metropolitan Museum of Art’s Costume Institute that takes place on the first Monday of every May in Upper East Manhattan.

She attended the exclusive event as a guest of Casey Wasserman (the CEO and Chairperson of Wasserman, an entertainment and sports company). Her gorgeous dress with floral embellishments was courtesy of Oscar de la Renta, and she complimented it with some elegant silver jewelry and a classy pair of heels. The 13-time LPGA Tour champ was no doubt successful in following this year’s theme, ‘Sleeping Beauties: Reawakening Fashion’.

Despite having a bitter history with the LPGA Tour, Spiranac has never shied away from complimenting beauty when she sees it. Especially when it’s Nelly Korda. “I think Nelly Korda is the full package,” she once said in her podcast in 2023 before adding, “She’s beautiful… She looks incredible. And all of her editorial pictures that she does, she can do high fashion, she can also do just, you know, her fun, really candid pictures that she does on Instagram.”

And Spiranac’s fans rallied behind her, swarming the post with comments within minutes, dubbing her a “beauty” and “the hottest golfer that’s ever lived”!

Nelly Korda, declared as ‘the hottest golfer,’ slays on the green as well as red carpet

With an average driving distance of 264.74 yards and an accuracy of 74.22%, Korda has time and time again proved that she is one of the best in the sport of golf. Her putting average of 29.57 and scoring average of 69.22 only add to that. No doubt, it’s exactly these stats that have fans believing she could golf well regardless of what she wore—even in this stunning dress, that is! “And she could still break par,” said the golf fanatic.

The LPGA star joined the elite cohort of Nancy Lopez and Annika Sorenstam with her most recent win at the Chevron Championship after winning her record-tying fifth straight tournament in the Chevron Championship. Not to mention, her recovery from a blood clot forced competing to take a backseat, which somehow influenced her winless performances in 2022 and 2023. As such, this follower, interestingly, couldn’t believe Korda’s recent accolades, “Paige is she really this good at golf? Is the field weak atm, or a combo of both? She appears to be amazing,” they asked, almost out of disbelief.

Korda did prove that she is able to turn many heads in the community, not just with her swinging and putting, but also with her looks. However, not even that was enough for Spiranac’s loyal fans to pick her over the model. Paige’s gorgeous look had many following to reach the top of the leaderboard in Maxim’s 2022 Sexiest Woman Alive. “She’s almost as fine as you lol jk, your both absolute 10s on and off the course, if I do say so myself! Love this for her! Go Nelly!”

Now, almost a year later, the golfer’s fans can’t seem to deny her comments, as they also responded along the same lines under the post. “She’s a beauty,” said one, while another made it clear that off the course and in the looks department, Korda was unbeatable too.

With five victories already under her belt, the 25-year-old will be hoping to continue her good form and rake in yet another one at the upcoming tournament, the Cognizant Founders Cup, where she will be making her next on-course appearance.
