The U.S. Women’s Open is set to begin next week at Pine Needles Lodge & Golf Club. Moreover, there is exciting news for all the fans which broke out due to the interview schedules. According to the interview schedules, Nelly Korda is all set to address the media on 31st May at 10:30 am.

Hence, this is a clear sign that Nelly Korda will be competing at the 2022 U.S. Women’s Open in Southern Pines. However, there is no official confirmation from her side as of now.

Why was Nelly Korda away from golf?
The former world no.1 Nelly Korda, is away from competitive golf since February 2022. She last competed at the Drive on Championship at Crown Colony Golf & Country Club where she finished T15 for the event with a score of -10.

However, in March, she experienced pain in her arm, and it started to swell as well. After consulting with the doctors, it was revealed that she was diagnosed with a blood clot in the subclavian vein. Furthermore, Nelly went under surgery in April and was under rehab since then.
