Lydia Ko hopes to win the 2024 ISPS Handa Women’s Scottish Open
“It’s nice to kind of play your way into a major championship,” divulged the Kiwi while alluding to the current tournament and the one that will follow it, the 2024 AIG Women’s Open. She also expressed hope at finishing well at the ongoing contest while revealing her plans for the final day; “Just hit a couple balls and a few putts. Just kind of get out of the cold.”
But for the New Zealand golfer to come out victorious, the athlete would need to beat the likes of Lauren Coughlin, the American pro who is currently at T1. She boasts a score of 12-under, a stroke less than Megan Khang at T2. Coughlin, over the three days of play, has carded a figure of 69-69-66, while Ko has just carded a 69-69-71. Anyhow, she will need to step up her game if she is to come out lifting the trophy!
