Albane Valenzuela seems to be suffering on the greens! The first round of the Chevron Championship has seen the 26-year-old’s game take a hit as she carded a round of 3-over-par. Her appearance at the high-value event has spiked curiosity among fans about her personal life, especially her current relationship status.

The short answer to this is yes. Even though it remains unknown who this mysterious love of the Swiss golf pro’s life is, her Instagram account suggests their earliest public appearance to have been in July 2022 at the Amundi Evian Championship. Valenzuela finished at T27 with a total score of 8-under-par, 9 strokes behind the lead Brooke Henderson at the event.

The couple seems to share a love of traveling. They are often seen globe-trotting while witnessing the beauty, ranging from the Netherlands in November 2022 to Northern California in April 2023 and New York City in January 2024. However, despite their often public display of affection on social media, this mystery man in Valenzuela’s life seems to value his privacy a little too dearly. This is evident from the lack of mention of his name on both her accounts and the privacy he seems to have maintained all over social media.

Albane Valenzuela’s talented brother, whom she dearly loves

Alexis Valenzuela, the pro golfer’s younger brother, was diagnosed as being on the autism spectrum when he was just 3 years old. After battling initial life hurdles in adopting speech, Alexis learned how to speak over three languages with the help and never-give-up attitude of his parents and siblings.

He is also a major driving force behind the Alexis for Autism program. This program supports research into early intervention for young children with autism and gives them the support they need in crucial times, including providing full-time therapists.

Talking about his talented sibling, the 26-year-old said, “My brother Alex started his foundation right after the 2019 U.S. Women’s Amateur when he carried the bag for me. My brother had his personal battle, and I think it’s very important to help others. As athletes, we have a duty to help people and leverage our platform to talk about causes we care about.”

As the Valenzuelas continue to fulfill their duty of caring for people in need, it remains to be seen whether the talented pro golfer will rise from the ashes post-the first round at the Chevron Championship and eventually reveal the love of her life or not.
