She has more often than not spoken up against what she thought was unfair. Yes, Paige Spiranac has always been open in her views and opinions regarding the game of golf, even if it meant ultimately going against the tradition of the sport. Surprisingly, it appears she is not looking to stop anytime soon!

“These are things in golf that just don’t make any sense to me,” said Spiranac as she started off her list in the video she made on her X handle. What did it contain? Well, she used the post to list out the things that people did on the course, like unraked bunkers and slow-paced rounds, that did not sit right with her!

Firstly, she pointed out how “not getting free relief off a fairway divot” tops the list. Besides, Jordan Spieth may share the same opinion owing to his unfortunate experience of finding three divots at the Sentry. Anyhow, it does seem a bit unfair to be on the losing end owing to the loose piece of turf someone else made. Secondly, on a similar note, the model expressed her displeasure at “people who don’t rake their bunkers, especially people who don’t fix their pitch marks,” resulting in the following golfers suffering from the uneven grounds.

Meanwhile, she followed it by indicating her dissatisfaction with “rounds that take over 5 hours.” It seems the model is generous since it counts to four hours when it comes to the PGA Tour for weekend pairs. Fourthly, the 2022 Maxim Sexiest Woman took up the chance to mention how she hates it when “a course doesn’t tell you when they punch their greens” despite paying full price for the same. The punching, in turn, would allow the ball to roll truer, stop better, and, on top of that, make the greens look better.

That wasn’t all. The blonde beauty also dished out her opinions against “not wearing shorts even when they’re playing at a 100-degree plus weather with humidity,” as well as people who term the game a ‘Gentleman’s Sport’ all the while keeping out the ladies. Interestingly, the former of the two seems to be a no-go for the PGA Tour, even during the 2023 FedEx St.Jude Championship, when golfers struggled due to the heat. And lastly, Paige Spiranac attacked the “people who insist on playing the tips even though they don’t hit it over 230.” The rearmost set of tees should be used by golfers who can hit it long, or so says the female athlete.

That surely was a long list, and one can’t help but reiterate her question, “So, did I miss any?” Regardless, this is not the first time that she has expressed herself about the various instances that have irked her in the sport. Interestingly, she had put forth one of her opinions in a collab with none other than Bryson Dechambeau himself.

The two golfers had taken to the greens with a camera in hand to produce some amazing content for the influencer’s social media. During the same, the diva had put forth a query to the LIV athlete: “If you could add or remove one rule from golf, what would it be?”

Quick to answer the question, the 30-year-old replied that he would like to “add the rule that you can take a relief out of a fairway divot.” Well, the diva was seemingly elated as she replied, “Thank you” in gratitude, indicating how much she wanted the same thing to happen.
