Phil Mickelson is back to being the legend that he is. Lefty showed tremendous performance today during round 2 at Sentosa Golf Club. Mickelson is in contention in Singapore after quite the day he has had. His team, HyFlyers, is also on the top of the leaderboard.

LIV Golf posted a video of Mickelson hitting a spectacular hole out on Instagram. LIV Golf wrote, “PHIL HOLE OUT FOR THE LEAD! 🤯🦅 #LIVGolf @hyflyers_gc” The shot made Mickelson stand in the lead. This shot holed out for an eagle. 

About his eagle, Mickelson spoke, “I hit a really good cut 9 iron into that slope and it just kept releasing and went in. I thought it was going to up a little short, and it just kept running out until it disappeared and it was a cool feeling to see that ball go in.”

Although as the day progressed, Mickelson finished at number 7 with (-10). Sergio Garcia topped the leaderboard after the event was concluded.

“I swear Phil’s reasoning to move to LIV had nothing to with money or the PGA… he just wanted to wear shorts so he can show off his calves,” commented another fan, accusing Mickelson of wanting to flaunt his calves.
