Marvel or DC? Get to Know Paige Spiranac’s Favorite Comic Universe

Marvel or DC? While the question is easy to ask, it is hard to answer. Both universes offer different characters and setups; therefore, it is never easy to pick a side. As a comic book nerd, Paige Spiranac, too, had to think twice before answering the question. 

“That’s the toughest question you could ever ask me,” said Spiranac. “I love them both so differently.” Spiranac was still a professional golfer when she was asked about her favorite comic universe. Later, she retired from the sport and became a full-time social media influencer. 

Spiranac explained that while DC provides a darker storyline, the Marvel movies have humor in it. “Batman’s my favorite. The Dark Knight is my favorite movie ever,” she added.

“I have a soft spot in my heart for Iron Man,” said Spiranac. She explained that she is a total nerd when it comes to Iron man. The former pro golfer has an Iron man themed phone case. Moreover, she dressed up as the character for Halloween. 

Spiranac further added that she loves Captain America as well as the ‘Avengers’ from MCU. “I could probably quote Avengers all the way through,” she said in the end.

As a girl who considers going to comic book stores every weekend as one of her favorite things to do, Paige struggled to keep true to one answer. After all, each character from both universes have a lot of different things to offer. 

Some things never change!

After retiring, Paige switched her career from professional golf to being a social media influencer. However, she never lost interest in the comic book world.

In a recent interview with the PGA Memes, Spiranac revealed that she still is a comic book nerd. She added that she would like to be Jean Grey, when asked which superpower she would like to have in the interview. Jean Grey is a Marvel Comics character. 

Although her favorite movie ever is Dark Knight and her favorite character is Batman, Spiranac has a lot of soft spots among the Marvel Universe characters. Do you have a favorite superhero?
