Tiger Woods, as per the final list of Par-3 Contest participants, is not on the list! The reason for him not playing hasn’t been disclosed to the community yet. The repercussions of this decision also extend to Sam Woods. How? Well, she won’t be able to caddie for her father. It was anticipated that she would caddie for Woods, as she did at the 2023 PNC Championship.

It was “the first time” for Sam to caddie for her father in Orlando, and she did a great job at it! The 48-year-old values and cherishes these moments with his children. He said, “For me to have both my kids inside the ropes like this and participating and playing and being part of the game of golf like this.” While continuing his sentiments, Woods also said, “It couldn’t have been more special for me, and I know that we do this a lot at home, needle each other, and have a great time. But it was more special to do it in a tournament like this.”

The 15x major champion has always been very vocal about his kids, and they also sure have come away from loving soccer to making do with golf! Sam is still into soccer, but caddying for her father is when she is inside the ropes! This makes Woods’s decision to skip the Par-3 Contest even more surprising. Regardless, even before this decision, Sam’s brother, Charlie Woods, was also absent from Augusta.
