It’s news to no one that Max Homa’s 2024 run has been a rather dull one, with the American golfer failing to win a single tournament this year. The latest disappointment came this weekend, as Homa was unable to defend his title at the Nedbank Golf Challenge, a tournament he had previously conquered. Despite his impressive skills and past successes, Homa’s 2024 season has been marked by a lack of victories, leaving fans and pundits alike wondering when he’ll finally break through and claim his next win.

Now, while no one can say for sure when Homa’s on-course heartbreak will end, what we can tell is that the heartbreak is not affecting his social game. In his latest tweet, Homa proved that he’s still got his humor and charm intact, showing that even when his golf game is down. When a golf fan, Chase Chick posted a video of themselves shooting a ball in what appeared to be their garage, and asked Max Homa for his critique, by saying, Hey @Maxhoma how am I doing?”, the golfer’s response was priceless.

When we say Max Homa may be one of the funniest golfers out there, we mean it, and before you come at us, we’ve got some solid proof. Take, for instance, the time he won his first PGA Tour event and realized he’d missed the Game of Thrones finale. His tweet, “I just realized I missed Game of Thrones tonight. Plz don’t ruin it for me, but if u do I honestly don’t care cuz I just won and life couldn’t be better #TeamArya,” showcased his humor and ability to not take himself too seriously.

But that’s not all – Homa’s also proven himself to be a master of self-deprecation. It’s this kind of humor and willingness to poke fun at himself that’s endeared Homa to fans and solidified his reputation as one of the most entertaining golfers on the PGA Tour.
