His latest late-night confession on Instagram has fans laughing, sympathizing, and wondering how he’s even functioning. While most golfers try to rest between events, Homa found his own unique version of recovery. It’s his love of baseball.

Homa uploaded an Instagram story about his obsession with baseball. It was a simple black screen story with a text that read, “I’ve been watching baseball for like 24 hours. Making the second redeye in consecutive days bearable.”

The 6x PGA Tour winner is known to be a passionate baseball fan. He is especially a big fan of the Los Angeles Dodgers. He is even friends with some MLB stars, such as Walker Buehler. The 2023 Farmers Insurance Open champion has often shares baseball-related content and reactions on his social media. For instance, Homa shared an Instagram story a few days back, giving a shout-out to the Dodgers on entering the World Series. He reposted a post by @bleacherreport and @brwalkoff, and wrote “Vamos.”

In 2024, he shared an X post, writing, “Can’t believe I quit baseball when I was 10. Coulda been me.” Prior to that, Homa said in a conversation with the Film Room in 2023, “My hometown of Valencia had a lot of, has had a lot of great baseball players to come out of there for whatever reason. I think it was just a baseball heavy town. My dad is from the East Coast… So we used to watch Yankee’s game… I really became a big Dodger fan… I’ve been immersed in it, being around it a lot. Made me a big fan.”

The Los Angeles Dodgers have had an impressive 2025 season. They started by winning their division and then the postseason to enter the World Series. The Dodgers had a remarkable win against the Milwaukee Brewers in October, securing their back-to-back World Series appearances with a 5-1 victory. Max Homa’s 2025 PGA Tour season has been challenging. It was marked by struggles with performance and consistency, resulting in a disappointing year compared to his peak seasons. His FedEx Cup ranking was 111th, and he finished 93rd in the FedEx Cup Fall season. His earnings also fell significantly to about $1.6 million. One of his best performances came at the Bank of Utah Championship. While Michael Brennan made history by winning his first sponsor exemption event, Homa finished tied for 9th.
