Fans also came to know about his long-time girlfriend, Gabi Powel. The FIU alum is a long-distance golfer and competes at world long-drive competitions. By her own admission, her longest competition shot stands at 364 yards.

Evidently, the golf community was surprised by her golf roots and immediately tagged her and Svensson as golf’s newest power couple. Powel travels regularly with the golfer in tournaments on the PGA Tour. She also made her first appearance at TPC Sawgrass this weekend to cheer for her boyfriend.

Despite falling off the grid in the third round, Svensson has certainly impressed the crowd with his blistering display. On a course where few got going, the 29-year-old put on a show of strength to lead the tournament at its halfway stage.

Svensson opened the competition with a beautiful 68, before stunning everybody after following up with a score of 67 in the second round. The Canadian shot 11 birdies in those rounds, which put him firmly in place for a title challenge at the weekend.

Sadly, his hard work was ruined on Saturday following a poor display, which included a triple bogey at the 14th hole. He shot 3-over-par in his third round, which put him outside the top 10 standings.

Don’t let Scottie Scheffler and Meredith Scudder lose so easily!

Despite the latest trends, the power coupe featuring Scottie Scheffler and Meredith Scudder still holds the glamour in the circuit. Scheffler’s rise last year, where he won several titles, including the Masters, within a short span of time, led to everyone finding out above Scheffler and his beloved wife.

The couple met at Highland Park High School and attended different college universities. While Scheffler joined the University of Texas, while Scudder chose Texas A&M University, where she held a communication major and a business major.

It didn’t bother the love birds, who kept meeting each other despite college hostilities. The two eventually married in a close-kept ceremony, with the couple breaking the news on social media.

Since then, the duo has been pictured together on the golf course. Scudder has been a regular fixture in her husband’s games and has always been present for the golfer’s victories on the tour. She also finds time to run charity work at ‘With Purpose College Station’, where she is co-founder, vice president, and an event planner in a company that supports children who suffer from cancer.
