This couple met on a golf course for the first time at Rush Creek while playing junior golf events in Minnesota. The couple was in a long-distance relationship for a while. After Kelly graduated, she joined him on the road as he played the Korn Ferry Tour. She also shared a heart-melting story about going out with the PGA Tour star when Hoge picked up his sweetheart in a minivan and took her to a steakhouse, The Keg.

Kelly ordered the biggest prime rib on the menu: “My husband’s like, ‘I’m sold. This girl’s ordering prime rib on the first date. I’m done.’’ said Kelly, according to the official PGA Tour site. After their romantic relationship started in 2013, the couple enjoyed dating for 4 years, and on December 3, 2017, they tied the knot in Marco Island, Florida. The couple does not have any children and is based in Fort Worth, Texas.

Kelly is the biggest supporter of the golfer and joins him in almost all of his games, not just as a wife but also because she understands the ups and downs Hoge goes through while playing on different courses. “I always bring up the positives and all the great shots he hit, and never the negativity because golf is such a mental game.” Although she doesn’t prefer to discuss golf with her husband because then it feels that she is bringing work home. She has, however, also caddied for her husband in several Monday qualifiers early in his career, like the Honda Classic in 2022, where he was in great form.

However, they have a different perspective on the game, and that adds a different dynamic to their relationship. Apart from being together on the golf course, this cute pair also likes to travel whenever they can grab some off-course time, according to Hoge’s Instagram account. The PGA Tour player shared a few pictures with his wife, enjoying fishing and skiing as well.
