What’s at stake at the Meijer LPGA Classic?

The Meijer LPGA Classic has the highest prize purse on the LPGA Tour aside from the major championships. As the women’s circuit pledges to grow the game, the prize purse of the Meijer LPGA Classic was increased from $2.5 million in 2023 to $3 million in the 2024 season. Accordingly, the winner will also receive an increased payout of $450,000.

Additionally, the victor will also bag 500 Race to CME points, which will help secure a berth at the season-ending CME Globe Tour Championship. As the penultimate event before the golfers qualify for the Summer Olympics, the players will have a decent chance to rank up and get in the top 60 to be one of the two from their country in Paris.
