Paige Spiranac took a bold stand against victim-blaming
The golf beauty is widely known for her unbiased opinions about everything she thinks needs to be heard. Other than talking about things related to golf, Spiranac also speaks about social issues, especially women-centric ones. The ex-golfer once participated in a conversation on Twitter giving her opinion about what was wrong with people’s mindsets.

A thread that contained a tweet by famous Olympic gymnast, Gabby Douglas, was shared on Twitter, where she blamed the survivors of abuse for wearing “provocative” clothes and that women needed to “dress modestly and be classy”. It was after Aly Raismas tweeted asking for support from other women to deal with sexual harassment.
And giving her virtue over the matter, Spiranac took a bold stand. The ex-golfer commented, “I will never understand how women are blamed for the way they dress regarding sexual harassment and assault.” She continued to talk about how men who treat women badly and actively harass them should solely be responsible for their actions. “Men aren’t animals and should be more than capable of controlling their urges,” she said.

Spiranac shared her experience of being harassed
The former pro is extremely sensitive about such matters because she has faced similar situations in the past. Spiranac has been working day and night to build a good image among her fans through social media. However, some of her fans believe that she is only famous for how she dresses. “I was harassed, my family was harassed. I was receiving death threats,” Spiranac said. She also mentioned getting blackmailed by some of her fans for the the clothes that she wore.

Although it wasn’t the first time for Spiranac, it is sad how mean people are. The social media sensation is currently working very hard to grow on social media. And most of her fans are always supportive of her work.
