Indeed, a clip of his club swing made the rounds recently, which garnered appreciation from golf fans worldwide. Additionally, it was his proud father who shared the video on social media a while back. “Has anyone found someone in high school with more club head speed?” he asked his followers to back his son’s abilities.

Indeed, the speed at the TrackMan was certainly something to behold. Block Jr’s shot recorded a whirlwind speed of 132.7 mph. To put it in context, the PGA Tour’s leading club head hitter has an average club head speed of 126.42 mph, which is less than Dylan’s efforts.

Even the tour average stands much lesser at 115.21 mph, which gives more depth into Block’s endeavors. However, the tour players are required to play with an emphasis on control, which can affect their club head speeds.

But Dylan Block is just more than just another powerful hitter of the golf ball.

Dylan’s strength doesn’t always rely on power-hitting, as he is good enough in other areas as well. The eighteen-year-old recently teamed up with one of his mates to qualify for this year’s USGA Amateur Four-Ball Championship.

Impressively, he has shown his ability at the U.S. Open local qualifying, where he cruised past the competition with a 68 earlier this month. A bright future looks upon the young talent, and who better to guide him than the now-famous golf instructor as well.
