Woods’ latest brainchild, the tech-infused TGL series, is the perfect example. The league is already on the agenda of numerous celebrities, many of whom share a healthy friendship with the golfer. But importantly, the course will be designed by none other than Tiger Woods himself. The 47-year-old is expected to work closely with his TGR Design group, a venture by the golfer himself, which specializes in building golf courses, and Trout himself.

“Just having Tiger design a course and have it your own, it’s pretty special, and I cannot wait till it opens,” the three-time American League MVP once said in a video interaction.

While the buzz has been around for a while, the league will commence in January next year. TMRW Sports, under which the TGL series has been registered, has started announcing team names and their owners.

With Trout’s investment, he could be likely handed a franchise team in TGL soon. While the die-hard golf enthusiast will be elated, it will also serve as a thanking gift to Woods.
