However, a rather surprising fact about the Los Angeles Angels’ 27 has come to light.

Fittingly, the duo also command a high salary based on their popularity and stardom across continents. After years of resilience and hard work, Woods recently became the first-ever golf billionaire in the sport.

While Trout has been a towering player in his time, he hasn’t yet matched Woods’ figures yet. As per a Forbes estimate, the 31-year-old draws an annual salary of $35.5 million from his MLB franchise.

However, his off-course earnings might surprise you. Despite being one of the most recognized players on the field, Trout has a meager off-course earning of $14 million. According to sources, he will make $4 million as part of his endorsement deals this year.

How much does Tiger Woods earn off the course?

Trout’s figure falls short of what he brings to the table. The MLB star is a three-time American League MVP and nine-time winner of the Silver Slugger Award. He has played at the top circuit for years, and signed a long-term deal with his team worth $426.5 million, which was the most expensive contract in the sport’s history at the time of the announcement.

On the other hand, an aging Woods has been dependent upon his sponsorship earnings ever since his golfing days were shortened. The 47-year-old made only a handful of appearances last year but made $68 million on the back of his endorsement deals.

The current Woods-Trout project, which focuses on building a golf course, will be open by 2025. If Trout’s tweet is anything to go by, the beautiful course will be named the ‘Trout National – The Reserve.’
