Max Homa’s wife has a hilarious reaction after his ground-breaking round performance

Max Homa had a somber start at the BMW Championship and was at 66 after round one, where Rory McIlroy and Brian Harman were at the top of the leaderboard after Thursday. But the game of golf is quite uncertain sometimes, and the match took a sudden U-turn which worked in Homa’s favor.

Thus, landing him in the first position on the leaderboard after Friday. And this star player shot ten birdies, securing a new course record on the Olympia Fields North Course. Now, after the completion of the round, Homa’s better- half, Lacey, visited him and gave an exclusive reaction that went viral on social media.

She said, “No comment on that. We can’t. You guys got 15 minutes. Wrap it up, wrap it up.” Thus, quite evidently, she cannot wait for her husband to finish off the tournament-related stuff and return to her.

The US team in the Ryder Cup will have six qualifiers through the points system, and six will depend on the discretion of Captain Zach Johnson. At present, all the players are aiming to woo Zach Johnson for a place in the US Ryder Cup team. But Max Homa who also lays his eyes on the Ryder Cup, tends to rely more on the automatic qualification process based on performance and the points system.

While in the press conference after a record round of 8-under 62 in the BMW Championship, Homa mentioned that he had a chat with Zach regarding the US team selection. And Homa told the captain that he was trying to cajole him, to which Johnson answered, “I’d like to not have to pick you”, stressing the fact that he expects Homa to get selected on his own.

Then finally, the 32-year-old revealed that his plan was to qualify on his own, always without seeking help from Johnson, “That’s been kind of my goal since these Playoffs started, to get into that top 6.” Thus, it is to see if Homa wins this BMW Championship and confirms his place in the US Ryder Cup team even more.
