Talor Gooch managed to secure his first LIV Golf tournament victory by a margin of three strokes despite almost losing his double-digit lead overnight. He had shot two impressive 10-under 62 rounds without any bogeys. However, he struggled in the final round with a 1-over-73 score.

As the tournament leader, he started his final round on Sunday at the first hole using the shotgun-start format. Although he scored a birdie on the fifth hole, his bogey-free run ended at the seventh hole, and he dropped a shot at the eighth. His situation worsened when he scored a double-bogey on the 10th hole.
