However, the 57-year-old is also one of the oldest players on the Tour as of now. Despite his age, Daly refuses to say goodbye to professional golf. Rather, he recently took a jab at the PGA for something that no one could have expected. And it had everything to do with the implications he faces as a senior golfer!

John Daly brings the PGA into question with his latest tweet

Daly has been regarded as one of the best players in the history of the game. Although he only has two major victories to his name, the golfer’s passionate approach toward the game has his fans always asking for more! However, as per recent updates, the golfer had to suddenly withdraw from the Senior PGA Championship after playing a few holes due to an injury.

Lately, Daly has been going through a lot physically. And after his exit from the mega-event, fans were extremely concerned about the player’s health. However, he recently shared a picture of his legs, which were visibly swollen, and expressed what really happened on the course. And while doing that, the bad boy of golf ended up taking a jab at the PGA over a concerning issue.

Mentioning his old age, Daly highlighted how it is extremely hard for him and other golfers on “down hill tee boxes”“We are not young anymore,” the golf legend tweeted. “I’m sorry @PGA you are going the wrong way in golf but I love y’all. But you are making holes really really long.” Well, it is safe to say that the golfer was not at all happy with the tee boxes at the Fields Ranch East course.

Is Daly supporting LIV Golf instead?

For those unaware, Daly once revealed how he literally “begged” Greg Norman to let him play on LIV Golf. “I begged Greg Norman to be on the LIV Tour,” Daly said in one of his older interviews. However, his appeal to join the Saudi League was refused by the golf shark. But his intentions to leave the PGA Tour certainly raised a lot of questions about his legacy!
