LIV Golf Miami, the final event of the season, is in full swing at the Trump National Doral in Florida. Amidst the celebration and excitement, Team Smash GC’s captain Brooks Koepka’s rare side emerges as he converses with fans. 

LIV Golf’s newest video shows Koepka as the man of the people, yet this is one of the unusual moments where he has been captured actively interacting and enjoying with fans. And the fans sitting at home got their kick too.

Brooks Koepka gets reminded of his controversial past

Even though there were some hiccups and he could not win, the Ryder Cup this year had been perfect for Brooks Koepka in many ways. Last week, he also won the LIV Golf Jeddah and acquired $8 million as the prize money, which included a $4 million bonus.

However, his team Smash GC lost to Phil Mickelson’s 4Aces GC in the quarterfinals and got themselves out of title contention.

LIV Golf’s official X account shared that Koepka was enjoying his free time as he was not playing. He was seen mingling with fans and one of them was dressed as a traffic cone, putting in mind his remark about ice hockey star Aaron Ekblad earlier this year after the latter had made a mistake. Brooks found it hilarious and laughed no end.

Fans had a lot to say about the video. Brooks Koepka won’t feel good after reading the comments under the post. Fans could be really unforgiving!

This one fan was unnecessarily offended by Koepka laughing and called him a “traitor” out of nowhere. 

Another made his dislike for Koepka known by posting a picture of the exit gate.

This fan said Koepka only loves money and everything else doesn’t matter to him. Fans have not forgotten his move to LIV golf last year.

This one fan was shocked maybe because he did not expect Brooks to laugh and have fun. He usually sports a serious face. Or maybe the fan is upset after the team performance!

This man disagreed with the caption and said Koepka is actually not a people’s man because not everyone is supportive of him.

Despite the criticism Koepka gets on a daily basis, he is still one of the exceptional players in the breakaway league and was the only golfer from it to play in the Ryder Cup earlier this month in Rome. Love him or hate him, you cannot ignore him.
