Tiger Woods is one of the greatest golfers of all time. He is a huge inspiration for his fans as well as his fellow golfers. We all have someone we look up to in our lives, but we never know how we would react if we ever get to meet them. The same happened with Bryson DeChambeau, who has always looked up to Tiger Woods and got extremely nervous when he met the golf legend for the first time.

Bryson DeChambeau described his nervous experience after meeting Tiger Woods

DeChambeau recently joined the LIV Golf league and put his career on the PGA Tour at stake. But while playing on the PGA tour, he had an opportunity to meet golf legend, Tiger Woods, for the first time. And not only did he meet him, Woods even asked him to play a round of golf.

Woods is one of the most loved players in the golf community. Almost every golfer looks at Woods with respect and has something to learn from the player. Nonetheless, Woods had been a childhood idol for DeChambeau. And playing a practice round of golf with him was something that the golf ‘hulk’ had only dreamt of.

Describing his practice round with Tiger Woods, DeChambeau said“This is probably the most nervous I’ve ever been on the golf course my entire life,”. He added, “It was by far the coolest, most nerve-racking experience. … He asked me to go play, and I was like, uh, yeah, let’s do it, why not.”

He told the hosts at the ‘Full Send Podcast’ that there was no conversation between the golfers during the first two or three holes. However, as the game went forward, DeChambeau talked to Woods about his putting skills. Later, he said that Woods was also a “complete nerd” like him and said that Woods knew everything about putting.

Why did DeChambeau join LIV Golf?

DeChambeau joined the LIV Golf league as soon as he received an offer from the LIV Golf chief, Greg Norman. The golfer has been honest about his reasons for joining the breakaway league and said that it was a business decision”. However, he still wishes to play in the PGA Tour events. But after Jay Monahan’s statement, DeChambeau wouldn’t be able to participate in PGA Tour events anytime soon.
