“Sorry.” The golfer’s face showed instant regret, as he murmured the apology. There have been many incidents in the past where fans, after the events, have turned up with discouraging messages and comments on social media. Take the example of eliminating Monday Qualifiers from the PGA Tour events. The news, which was intended to help improve viewership and reduce the field side, took a U-turn on the tour only. Fans were angry about the decision, on not to give a chance to a promising player. Well, that was the past. Now with the Valspar Championship, fans have started trolling a golfer for his action, which he already regrets.

Jessica Hadwin, wife of Adam Hadwin, along with supporting her partner, has shared regular updates from the course. Adam Hadwin, with his 12 professional wins, was aiming to get another at the Valspar Championship. However, his performance with each round saw a dip, leaving him frustrated. After his second round of 76, he was far from making the cut for the weekend. The golfer’s disappointment and frustration were evident when he slammed his club on the course. But unfortunately, he hit it on the sprinkler, which led to a high-pressure spray on the course. The instant regret on the face of the golfer could be seen and even his low voice murmured, “Sorry.” However, the consequences of his actions, apart from the course, have gotten wild.

Fans across the globe joined in trolling the golfer for his action. But when the trolls crossed the lines, wife Jessica Hadwin stepped in for the golfer. The golfer who praises his “never give up” attitude has now been under the misery of his actions. But with the trolls from outsiders, Mrs. Hadwin was fast enough to stop it with her reply. She got back with, “You could mute his name on here and move on instead of typing a thesis about your fatigue.” The golfer’s wife who has always showcased a calm and witty side, turned her back on trolls. She expressed that the negative messages, despite the golfer’s regret, were prolonged.

An X user, @NobodysGrich (Bobby Grich from Angels in the profile picture), voiced out her speedy response, that instead, she should take it as feedback. He wrote, “I don’t need to “mute his name,” he needs to respect the game and his place in it.” The fans continued to rant about his frustration with the golfer by pointing out the duo’s appearance at the Full Swing series. But Jessica Hadwin was quick again with her response. Humorously, she posted a GIF that read, “Ya gotta be quicker than that.” Using the pitcher’s reference to back Adam Hadwin, she indirectly pointed out the flaws of Bobby Grich.

Then, @NobodysGrich, who was following Jessica Hadwin on X, unfollowed her. She posted this too! Well, not just Jessica enjoyed replying to the troll, but the fans also joined in. One of the fans wrote, “Gotcha!!! 🤣” with a standing ovation GIF. Others suggested, “Not worth engaging” and “Hey Nobody for someone with “Hadwin fatigue” You sure seem to care a lot. Go for a walk and touch some grass buddy.”

Though, notably, when the video of Hadwin went viral, she took it with a joke on X. Not just this, but she shared a complete 30 context-free observation.

Jessica Hadwin’s observation on the Valspar Championship

Jessica Hadwin, with her regular updates on X about caddie’s bibs, has recently shared a ’30 Context-Free Observation’ on Skratch. She shared everything like weather updates, bibs, her plans after the rounds, and more. Even with the unforgettable instance of his husband, she took it subtly. She wrote, “On the 10th hole, it appears Adam was in the vicinity of some sort of sprinkler malfunction…” Knowing the frustration, the wife has kept the instance crux under the carpet.

Even consoled Adam Hadwin for what happened on the 10th. “Two sh*nks in one hole (10) is not good for a man’s soul. I feel for him and seriously hate seeing him look beat down by golf,” she wrote. Hadwin, who has recorded no double bogey, was in the hope of making the cut, but his 10th-hole double bogey reduced the chance of it. Having a T9 finish a few events back, and now missing cuts could be an obvious frustration.

But with the support of her wife for muting trolls, the golfer might feel better about his upcoming event and get back on the redemption path. What are your thoughts on what Jessica Hadwin did for her husband? Do you support her? Share your thoughts with us in the comments below.
