The news of the sudden demise of Tiger Woods’s mother, Kultida Woods, has left the golf world downhearted. After witnessing the last few instances when Kultida Woods was in the crowd and cheering for Woods’s TGL match, it felt unbelievable when the golfer shared the news through his social media. He wrote, “It is with heartfelt sadness that I want to share that my dear mother, Kultida Woods, passed away early this morning.”

Kultida has been the biggest supporter and fan of Woods. Even in the last TGL match, Woods said to her mother that he would not disappoint her. He said it was because of his unexpected performance at the first match of TGL, which resulted in a 12-1 loss. Not only this, her mother advised Woods to wear red on Sundays for good luck, and indeed, that has worked for the golfer as 82 victories,s including 15 majors.

Along with Gary Player, Rory McIlroy, co-founder at the TGL, also shared a heartfelt condolence for Tiger Woods’s loss. He wrote, “Yeah, obviously very sad, sort of surreal. She was here last Monday night. Yeah, it seemed sudden. I got to know Tida a little bit. She was always very warm, very courteous, and generous with her time. Yeah, it was always a delight to see her at tournaments.” The world has been shocked as Kultida Woods who was seen supporting Tiger Woods at the TGL match with Sam and Charlie Woods, grandchildren has left the world.
